Brett Johnson’s luxe and understated fall 2024 collection has landed at Harrods in London.
The brand, known for its high-end take on American casualwear, has unveiled a dedicated corner on the department store’s menswear floor. The pop-up shop, which marks the collection’s debut in the U.K., will remain in place until Nov. 4.
Starting Oct. 31, Harrods will provide its personal shopping experience to Brett Johnson customers, inviting them to a private suite by appointment to discover the brand’s shearling jackets, cable-knit turtlenecks and overshirts crafted from superfine Yangir cashmere.
“My vision for the Harrods space goes beyond apparel display,” said Johnson. “I want to create a space inviting clients to interact with clothing, feel the textures and really get a sense of the brand’s commitment to quality and design.”
To mark the launch, Johnson created a dedicated cologne to be gifted to customers tapping into the private shopping experience in addition to offering an on-site monogram embroidery service.
Johnson, who grew up in Washington, D.C., launched his namesake label in 2014. In 2019 the brand opened a showroom in Milan. The 3,229-square-foot space is home to the sales department, part of the design team and has allowed Johnson to keep track of manufacturing, which is based in Italy’s Tuscany and Umbria regions.
The brand is available at Saks, Gio’ Moretti in Milan, and Trois Pommes in Zurich. More partners are on the horizon for spring 2025, including Amicis in Wien, Bungalow in Stuttgart, Germany, and the Rubaiyat department store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
