Bond-eye, the Australian swimwear and resort wear company, has set up its first permanent shop Stateside at 375 Bleecker Street in New York. The shop, which had a soft opening last month, opens officially April 16, when the brand will hold an opening party.
This permanent location follows the successful pop-up which the brand had at 345 Bleecker Street last summer.
The new 800-square-foot space carries the brand’s most popular swim styles, as well as full-look dressing across ready-to-wear. Bond-eye is known for its Authentic Crinkle fabric, which has an unsized, body-hugging fit.
The store features swimwear, cotton separates, knitwear and sustainable mesh designed to take the woman from beach to bar. Bond-eye pieces range in price from $90 to $350. In addition to its core collection, the space carries a selection of complementary brands, such as Leoné, Éliou, Flòwze, Méga, Tanning Club and Elisa Johnson, among others.

An immersive 250-square-foot backyard space will open in mid-April, hosting Sunset Socials, interactive events and community-driven gatherings.
This opening follows Bond-eye’s launch of its flagship boutique in Bondi, Sydney, in November 2024, and its New York pop-up last summer.
“It’s great to be back in New York City with our first permanent store on Bleecker in the West Village,” said Steve Philpott, founder and chief executive officer. “It feels like home, and with the success of our pop-up last summer, we knew New York City was where we were meant to be.”
Bestselling styles have been the Mara one-piece, the Gracie balconette and the Christy brief, the Low Palace one-piece, and the Beaded Ingrid Triangle and Beaded Tie Side Vista brief.
The shop is designed with a clean, modern aesthetic that reflects the brand’s playful, timeless and distinctly Australian identity.

In addition to Authentic Crinkle, the brand has a new locally produced “Bare” sustainable smooth Lycra. The brand’s shapes are handmade and knitted using premium fibers and constructed to allow four-way stretch and instant recovery.
Bond-eye swimwear is unsized and designed to fit a size XS through L, with all shapes and sizes in between.
In the past year alone Bond-eye has seen significant growth, with new direct-to-consumer users increasing by over a third and overall sales rising 33 percent. The brand sells 232 wholesalers. It has also established a strong celebrity following including Hailey Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Rita Ora, and Alix Earle.
