Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio Announce Los Angeles Fire Relief Benefit Concert

Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio have announced a benefit concert at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium to raise money for ongoing fire relief efforts. Tickets are currently on sale for the show, which is set to take place on February 13, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Pasadena Humane Society, California Fire Department, LAFD Foundation, and ARC Firefighter Fund.

This will be a mini reunion of sorts for Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio, as Matt Skiba played guitar in Blink-182 for seven years after original guitarist Tom DeLonge—who left Blink-182 in 2015, only to rejoin his pop-punk bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in 2022—went on a hiatus. Since then, Blink-182 have released One More Time…, their 2023 reunion album, and Alkaline Trio dropped Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs last year.

Several other California wildfire benefit concerts are scheduled to take place in the coming weeks, too. Seemingly the biggest of the bunch is FireAid, which includes Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Peso Pluma, Stevie Wonder, Green Day, and more. There’s also I Love LA with Bright Eyes, Jim James, Andrew Bird, Dirty Projectors’ David Longstreth, and more. There’s also numerous compilation albums, like Staying and Love Los Angeles, that are donating funds to Los Angeles-area fire relief programs.
