SAVE THE CHILDREN: British vintage clothing retailer Beyond Retro will launch a pop-up at Londonās Spitalfields Market with charity organization Save the Children for the upcoming holiday season.
Running from Nov. 22 to Dec. 30, the pop-up will offer a selection of vintage Christmas sweaters and holiday partywear. There will also be upcycled Christmas products such as holiday-themed outfits for dogs.
Ten percent of all Christmas sweater proceeds from the pop-up will go to Save the Children. There will also be in-store events such as Japanese scarf-making and jazz evenings for shoppers.
The pop-up will coincide with Save the Childrenās Christmas Jumper Day on Dec. 12, when millions of Brits will wear their festive sweaters to raise money for the organization.
Kate Peters, retail director of Beyond Retro, said, āWeāre extremely proud of our ongoing collaboration with Save the Children and their Christmas Jumper Day campaign. People can drop by, find a fantastic Christmas jumper or partywear, have some festive fun, and support a brilliant cause.ā
Save the Children has worked with several luxury brands and fashion retailers to raise awareness about childrenās welfare around the world. Earlier this year it celebrated its 15-year partnership with Bulgari with the launch of a custom-made necklace and the #withmewithyou campaign featuring Anne Hathaway.
The organization has helped 7 million children get the medicine, good food and education they need.
