Beis Berry Collection Returns with New Bags, Bloomingdale’s Events

Béis has reissued a collection that its fans find tempting and sweet — the Berry collection.

Originally released in 2023, the bold colorway quickly sold out at the time and returned for spring with a launch on Wednesday. This time around, the offering comes in three new bag silhouettes ($64 to $124), carry-on and check-in rollers in matte and glossy finishes ($228 to $358), and luggage covers ($48 to $64).

Béis has also unpacked something tempting and sweet for consumers with five immersive in-store activations at Bloomingdale’s flagship locations in Los Angeles, New York City, Garden City, N.Y., Miami and Chicago on Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. (local time). The outposts will feature claw machines filled with products, merchandise and grand prizes, including tickets redeemable for the Berry Collection luggage pieces.

Béis founder Shay Mitchell kicked off the event series with an appearance in Los Angeles last Saturday at the Westfield Century City shopping plaza, where a larger than life human claw machine activation gave fans—who were strapped in a harness and lowered into a pit—the chance to win pieces from the Berry Collection.

Engagement with consumers continues to be a priority for Béis. In December, the brand launched a motel-themed pop-up at Revolve’s holiday shop at The Grove in Los Angeles, where Mitchell held a meet and greet event.

The actress founded Béis in 2018, inspired by her on-the-go lifestyle. “I’ve been very fortunate to travel in my life at a young age,” Mitchell told WWD in a previous interview. “My parents always took my brother and I on trips. I love traveling. It was my first love. And then as I got older, obviously I was buying my own luggage, my own bags, and every time I was on the road, I’d be like, ‘This is missing something’ or ‘I wish there was a compartment for this’ or, like, ‘if I could only design this bag.’”
