Luftgekühlt 10 sounds like an event Americans might need a passport and a basic understanding of sausage-and-pretzel culture to attend, but it’s actually an air-cooled Porsche bonanza held on the Universal Pictures backlot in Los Angeles every year. The event offers limited tickets for looky-loos like us and features some of the coolest old Porsches in California mugging in front of neat old movie sets. This multi-day event includes races, trips to the Petersen Museum and special lunches for folks exhibiting cars. They also allow a limited number of press folks, which is how we got these lovely images courtesy of the fantastic car photographer Drew Philips.
There are just too many lovely vehicles to describe here, but everything from 356s to the 993s are on display. Scrolling through them will make your whole life better. I know it did for me.
