New solution offers streamlined security for critical industries with 24/7 operational capabilities
Asylon has announced the launch of Guardian™, an automated aerial security system designed to enhance perimeter protection for industries such as critical infrastructure, enterprise facilities, logistics centers, and corporate campuses. Guardian combines advanced drone technology, real-time situational awareness, and Asylon’s patented battery swap system to offer reliable and rapid response capabilities for incident management, routine patrols, and monitoring.
According to Asylon, Guardian’s FAA-compliant system integrates seamlessly with existing security platforms and ground robots like DroneDog™. It builds on the success of DroneSentry, an earlier product that has completed over 45,000 missions for commercial clients. This evolution of Asylon’s security offerings aims to transform how industries manage their security needs.
Guardian: Enhanced Aerial Security
The Guardian system is built on lessons learned from real-world missions to deliver a solution that is always ready to respond to security incidents. Damon Henry, CEO of Asylon, said, “Guardian represents a new era in automated security. With the ability to provide aerial situational awareness and real-time incident response, Guardian is designed to be always ready, ensuring our clients can deploy aerial security solutions with unmatched efficiency.” Henry emphasized that the upgraded system combines affordability, flexibility, and cutting-edge automation for a new approach to security.
A key feature of Guardian is its offering as a fully managed Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) solution. Asylon’s Robotic Security Operations Center (RSOC) handles all FAA regulatory compliance through its team of certified pilots. This ensures that clients don’t need to dedicate staff for drone operations, providing a turnkey service. The system’s patented battery swap technology is designed to maximize uptime, keeping the system ready for deployment during critical security operations.
Streamlining FAA Waiver Approvals
Guardian also simplifies the FAA waiver process, making it easier for clients to operate unmanned drone systems. Brent McLaughlin, COO of Asylon, stated, “Guardian simplifies the FAA waiver process leveraging everything we have learned from our previous nine BVLOS waivers, making it easier for Asylon to gain the necessary approvals for clients for unmanned drone operations.” The system is designed with precision landing technology and multi-camera safety inspections, which enable it to scale quickly and deploy safely across various enterprises.
The Guardian system is equipped to integrate with existing video management systems (VMS), alarm platforms, and Asylon’s ground-based security robot, DroneDog. Whether responding to alarms or conducting routine patrols, Guardian enhances traditional security measures by providing an aerial perspective.
Key Features of Guardian:
- Automated Operations: Powered by Asylon’s DroneIQ software, it integrates with ground solutions like DroneDog and connects to existing VMS and alarm systems.
- Patented Battery Swap Technology: Ensures rapid response and minimal downtime.
- RSOC and FAA Compliance: Asylon manages compliance, ensuring that operations meet all regulatory requirements.
- Optimized for Unmanned Waivers: Designed to expedite FAA approvals, enabling continuous 24/7 operations.
