Aubrey Plaza Elevates Sportswear at Lacoste’s Paris Fashion Week Show

Aubrey Plaza went sporty in the front row for Lacoste‘s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection presentation during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.

The “Agatha All Along” actress wore a silky Piqué polo collar dress in a shade of deep red, which she paired with a pleated white skirt akin to tennis styles of yore. The actress also carried the Lenglen leather bag in a shade of green and accessorized further with a pair of bold sunglasses.

Plaza was joined in the front row of Sunday’s fashion show by “Industry” star Marisa Abela, Oscar winner Kieran Culkin and six-time Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams, among others. Plaza’s look was ideal for the fall 2026 show as the collection included several pieces reflective of 1980s sportswear.

Curated by creative director Pelagia Kolotouro, the collection included a heavy dose of nostalgia. “In her casual-cool silhouettes with plays on proportions and the occasional hybrid, Kolotouros infused 1980s sportswear intimately familiar to this former latchkey kid hanging out at the neighborhood playground after school in New York’s Queens,” Lily Templeton wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

Among the highlights, of which Templeton made note, there was a raincoat that opened the show, which “looked like the love child of a track jacket and a tennis skirt, one of several items that are part of a collaboration with Scottish outerwear specialist Mackintosh,” Templeton wrote.

Pleated Lenglen bags, like the one Plaza touted in the front row, also appeared as a frequent accessory on the Stade Roland Garros runway — the ideal presentation destination for the longtime tennis-affiliated brand.

Founded in 1933 by René Lacoste and André Gillier, Lacoste has long fielded the attention of sports stars and celebrities alike. Serbian tennis star and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic frequently wears the brand while competing on the tennis court — currently playing at the Indian Wells Open in Indian Wells, Calif. In January, the brand expanded its reach with celebrity ambassadorships, thanks to two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody’s appointment as a Lacoste global eyewear brand ambassador.
