Ariana Grande Wears The Vampire’s Wife to Promote ‘Wicked’ in New York

Ariana Grande paid homage to The Vampire’s Wife on Tuesday while promoting her new film “Wicked” in New York. The singer and actress wore a floral puff-sleeve minidress by the now-defunct label, which shuttered in May.

Grande paired her jacquard frock with satin Manolo Blahnik pumps in a similar shade, adding on one of Vivienne Westwood‘s iconic Granny Frame handbags. Stylist Mimi Cuttrell, who also counts Gigi Hadid and “Outer Banks” star Madelyn Cline as clients, dressed Grande for the occasion.

The “Eternal Sunshine” artist wore her blond tresses in a sleek bun, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush, pink eye shadow and lip gloss.

Grande’s costar Cynthia Erivo modeled a taupe hooded sweater, which she paired with a khaki skirt suit and black heels.

The Vampire’s Wife was a London-based label founded by Susie Cave, wife of musician Nick Cave. In May, she announced the closure of her brand, which catered to high-profile customers like Florence Welch, Margot Robbie and Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, among others.

“I say this with great sadness and want to express my undying gratitude to you all for your support. I wish to thank my extended family at The Vampire’s Wife who helped me create such beautiful things. I cannot describe how much you have all meant to me,” Susie Cave wrote on Instagram this spring.

On Monday, Grande attended the Mexico City premiere of “Wicked” in an iridescent Atelier Versace gown. Featuring a plunging strapless bodice and a ruffled skirt, the look nodded to her character Glinda’s “bubble dress” from the film, which is based on the hit Broadway musical.

The first installment of “Wicked,” directed by Jon M. Chu, debuts in theaters on Nov. 22. Notable supporting cast members include Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey. A sequel to the film is slated for a 2025 release.
