Ariana Grande‘s latest red carpet dress is a departure from her Old Hollywood-inspired style streak that has been seen in recent award ceremonies. For the 2025 Critics Choice Awards on Friday in Santa Monica, Calif., the singer wore an avant-garde cage dress from Dior‘s spring 2024 couture collection.
Grande’s dress featured a form-fitting bodice made of mesh and a voluminous cage skirt, which resembled a bird’s nest with its intricate construction of raffia material arranged in long, flowing strands. The shoulders were adorned with gathered bunches of the same material, creating an organic, sculptural effect.
