The ‘Wicked’ press tour is well underway, and with it, a slew of stunning Glinda-inspired glam looks seen on Ariana Grande. The actress and singer has been sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes moments along the way, including a photo posted today that offers a peek at the hair styling tools behind her bewitching updos and soft glam waves.

In an Instagram post shared on October 18, Grande posted a classic backstage selfie in a makeup chair, where she was likely prepping for an appearance promoting her starring role as Glinda the Good Witch in the forthcoming film. The photo was complete with a picture-perfect look at her chic black two-piece set from Zimmermann, as well as some hair tools that our hawk-eyed editors spotted on the counter. The tools, wielded by hair stylist Alyx Liu, include a T3 curling iron, Shark Flexstyle hair dryer, and what looks to be a T3 Whirl Trio curling wand and T3 Lucea flat iron.

We weren’t surprised to see T3 in the mix on Grande’s vanity — it’s a brand that celebrity hairstylists frequently reach for to perfect A-listers’ tresses ahead of red carpet appearances. T3 curling irons are known for their sleek look and hair-healthy heat settings, but the T3 Curl ID Ceramic Curling Iron goes a step further with its technology that automatically adjusts the temperature to cater to your hair texture. The 1¼-inch barrel size is great for long hair, as it creates bouncy soft curls in just a few passes. The T3 Whirl Trio, on the other hand, includes tapered curling wand attachments for texture and movement, as well as an oversized barrel for major body.

A slicked-back updo is a Grande signature, and the Shark Flexstyle and T3 Lucea Flat Iron could be two of the key components for the face-snatching hair looks she’s sported during recent appearances. In her Instagram post, the Shark Flexstyle is shown with the concentrator attachment, which dries and straightens hair in one quick step — likely a timesaver for smoothing out Grande’s natural curls. It makes perfect sense that the Flexstyle would be in Grande’s arsenal: Just this week, Shark debuted a limited-edition ‘Wicked’ iteration of the editor-loved tool, done in an enchanting iridescent green.

As Grande proves, all of these hair styling tools can be used to create a huge array of versatile looks while keeping your hair in tip-top shape (Glinda wouldn’t be caught dead with split ends). Shop these essential tools for any hair texture, below.
