Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo slid on their best pumps to appear on an episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” which airs on Friday. Grande went for full glamour, putting on a pair of Jimmy Choo‘s extravagant “The Crystal Slipper” with an equally sparkly dress from Balmain.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10” announced that the Oscar-nominated actors would be guest judges on the upcoming episode of the show, sharing an image of them on stage alongside fellow judges Michelle Visage, RuPaul and Law Roach.

The fairy-tale princess-inspired pump features 12,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals throughout the shoe, including covering the heel and the shank. The pointed-toe pump features nine different styles that give the shoe a lavender purple, white, silver and multicolor appearance. The finishing touch of the heel is a hand-embroidered, heart-shaped crystal cluster adorning the pointed toe, which lends it a more crystal slipper-like appeal.

Grande’s dress was designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing and made its debut during Balmain’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear runway show. The style is a strapless, minidress design that’s covered in mirror-like crystals and jewels throughout. The bodice features pink and yellow floral and rose-shaped appliqués that decorate the front of the dress.

Grande previously shared close-up shots of her look in May on Instagram, teasing her appearance on the reality competition show. In the photos, she was holding a RuPaul “Shantay Sashay” double-sided hand fan, and wore her blonde hair in a half-up, half-down style, finishing the look off with Swarovski white Matrix hoop earrings.

Erivo complemented her “Wicked: For Good” costar, wearing a crystal-embellished miniskirt and a strapless top, with patent leather black pumps — a departure for the actress, who has an affinity for towering platform heels.
Grande and Erivo are expected to deliver some viral-worthy critiques as judges on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.” Friday’s episode will feature a “Wicked”-themed challenge as the final bracket of six queens are set to compete in a “good and wicked witch” runway challenge. The show also features Chappell Roan, Ice Spice, Colman Domingo, and other guest judges. Season 10’s seventh episode, titled “Wicked Good” is scheduled to premiere on Friday on Paramount+.
