Anne Hathaway Helps Bulgari and Save the Children Mark Partnership

“The most important number you will hear tonight is 2.4 million,” Anne Hathaway said. “That’s the number of children whose lives have been touched through this partnership, they are the ones who have been met, supported, listened to and embraced. Each one of those 2.4 million children represents a spark of resilience, a voice that has been heard and a future that can now unfold with greater possibility.”

The Academy Award-winning actress and Bulgari global ambassador was on hand Tuesday night for a quietly glamorous cocktail party marking the achievements of the Italian jeweler’s 16-year partnership with Save the Children.

Guests included friends of the Bulgari Foundation, members of Save the Children and 100 Strong, a women’s philanthropic leadership network associated with Save the Children. The affair took place in a private space overlooking Manhattan’s East Side with stunning views of the city and across the East River, all coming together to acknowledge another year of shared commitment — a year dedicated to fighting poverty, responding to emergencies, supporting early childhood education, and expanding opportunities for young adolescents.

“And while this achievement is extraordinary, there is still so much more to be done,” Hathaway told the intimate room. “Tonight, the world continues to call on us to stay engaged, to come together in partnership with each other as our best selves, to keep giving and to keep believing that real change begins when we stand together and act with purpose.

“I am deeply humbled and especially honored to have joined the 15th anniversary campaign with you in 2024. This campaign wasn’t just about celebration. It was about unity. It was about the simple, powerful idea that when we walk side by side, we can make an extraordinary difference.”

A cornerstone of the partnership between the Bulgari Foundation and Save the Children is a jewelry collection that features custom designed pieces inspired by the B.zeo1, with proceeds going to support the nonprofit’s activities, including helping build programs that provide education, safety and hope.

“We have been working together for something which is absolutely unique in this market.” Herve Perrot, president of Bulgari North America, said. “We have been collecting worldwide more than $100 million and supporting more than 2 million kids around the world. So, it’s something quite unique and very special. We live in the luxury world, but doing it with a purpose is important.”
