Angel Reese was at her most elegant yet in an all-black ensemble at the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in New York on Tuesday. The basketball star stepped out in a look styled by the fashion house’s creative director Matthieu Blazy, and paired her Chanel look with Gianvito Rossi‘s classic pointed-toe pumps.

The Chicago Star player opted for the Italian footwear brand’s signature style, the Gianvito 105. She opted for the pumps in black napa leather, with a soft, smooth finish. A sleek 105mm stiletto heel defines the silhouette of the Gianvito 105. The classic pump stands out thanks to its clean lines and a statement pointy toe.
The heels retail for $850. They are also available in a shorter version with an 85mm stiletto heel, as well as a wide range of colors and materials like suede and glossy leather. Like all Gianvito Rossi heels, the pumps are made in Italy. The brand has become a go-to for the basketball star, wearing various shoes from the brand at different events. At the 2024 FN Achievement Awards, where she was named Style Influencer of the Year, she opted for the sleek Gianvito Rossi Montecarlo sandal.

Reese paired the pumps with a textured black dress with a ruffled hem by Chanel, and a matching sweater with gold buttons down the front, which she wore unbuttoned. She paired the look with a black Chanel leather crossbody bag with a gold-tone CC turn-lock closure, black sheer tights, and Chanel sunglasses.
The WNBA player shared photos from the night on Instagram showing off her look her glam, and her hair, which was done by celebrity hairstylist Arrogant Tae. “Thank you, Chanel and Matthieu Blazy, for inviting me and dressing me for this amazing event tonight,” she captioned one of the photos on her Instagram Story.
