Amiri Signs Yuta Jinguji of Boy Band Number_i as Global Ambassador

Armiri’s Number: Amiri has tapped Japanese musician Yuta Jinguji as its latest global brand ambassador.

A member of the boy band Number_i, Jinguji not only performs with the popular group, but also serves as a producer on many of its songs, contributing to its innovative sound.

Off stage, Jinguji has also gained notice for his personal style, a refined yet bold approach to fashion.

“Music, performance and fashion have always been inseparable within the Amiri creative universe,” said founder and designer Mike Amiri. “More than icons, musicians are the defining voices and style innovators shaping today and generations to come. I’m proud to welcome Yuta as our latest global brand ambassador, deeply connected through our shared belief in the unifying power of creative expression. Being able to create a meaningful connection between Hollywood and Japan — bridging cultures through creativity — feels like a glimpse of what the future can be.”

“As a performer, fashion is not only a passion for me but a powerful form of communication,” said Jinguji. “Style has always been at the heart of who I am, a way to express my personality and creativity, my identity. I’m truly excited to collaborate with Amiri and Mike Amiri as global brand ambassador, with a designer I admire and a brand I love.”

Asia has become a key area for the Amiri brand. The company operates stand-alone stores in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, Japan.

In recent months, the L.A.-based Amiri has signed several international ambassadors including world champion Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. The brand has also partnered with South Korean rapper Sunwoon, part of the boy band The Boyz.
