Alix Earle Wraps Up in Jacquemus Minidress at GQ Bowl Fashion Show

Alix Earle wore a bright red Jacquemus draped minidress, made with sheer mousseline and stretch lining, for the inaugural GQ Bowl Fashion Show in New Orleans on Thursday. The fabric wrapped around her shoulders, creating a high neckline, covering her padded shoulders and displaying a peekaboo triangular cutout above her chest.

Earle wore her hair in a loose updo and accessorized with simple bracelets and black open-toed stilettos.

The GQ Bowl fashion show is a partnership between GQ and American designer Emily Adams Bode Aujla, who showcased her Spring 2025 Bode Rec. collection. The runway presentation will be streamed live on GQ.com.

Earle has been building a TIkTok following since entering college in 2019. By 2022, her follower count had soared with her now-classic “Get Ready With Me” videos that kickstarted a ubiquitous trend.

“The second I started being honest and candid with my audience and community was when I started to develop an audience and community,” she told WWD’s Noor Lobad in March 2024.

She launched her “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” podcast under Alex Cooper’s network, and it quickly rose to the top of Spotify’s charts. She’s made a name for herself with her beauty product recommendations and has over 7 million followers.

Earlier this year, she teamed with Los Angeles-based brand Frame for their new skinny jean campaign. Their skinny jean, called “The Alex,” launched Jan. 23, are an homage to the popular silhouette of the 2000s, and it is available in the classic blue wash and a coated black style.

“The main issue I’ve had with the style in the past was comfort — they were either too tight, too high-waisted or too low-waisted, so I really aimed to incorporate all that into making my version of a perfect skinny jean,” Earle said.

Earle also became Hero Cosmetics’ first global ambassador in 2024. The influencer, who has been open about her acne struggles, became the face of Hero’s pimple patches, Mighty Patch.
