Alix Earle put forth a shiny take on the sheer trend last night. The TikTok star and resuscitator of skinny jeans wore a sparkling gown last night on the red carpet at the star-studded event “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert.”
Earle opted for a gown from Stella McCartney‘s eco-friendly fall 2024 collection, which utilized sustainable crystal embellishments that are free of plastics and lead. Earle’s gown consisted of a halter neck made from crystals leading to crystal-topped sheer bodice and white satin skirt. She paired the gown with a pair of white pointed-toe heels and a couple diamond rings.

The couple also celebrated Valentine’s Day together on Thursday night, stepping out for a dinner date at Carbone in New York City. For the occasion, Earle embraced the burgundy trend in an Alexander McQueen minidress, a pair of black patent leather Jimmy Choo pumps, and a black Prada bag consisting of leather and nylon panels. Earle was styled by Danyul Brown for the night out.

Meanwhile, Berrios accompanied his girlfriend in a Fendi sweater covered in the brand’s logo. He paired it with black slacks and black leather sneakers.
Earle was joined on the red carpet at “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert” by Miley Cyrus, who also embraced the sheer trend. The music star who performed “Flowers” at the event arrived in a sheer and leather cutout gown from Roberto Cavalli. Cyrus’ gown recently appeared on the brand’s spring 2025 runway where designer Fausto Puglisi paid homage to Cavalli’s archives, but it first appeared in Cavalli’s fall 2003 collection.
The red carpet also brought out Leslie Jones, Jenna Ortega, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Leslie Jones, Sandra Oh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bowen Yang, Whoopi Goldberg, Chloe Fineman, Pete Davidson, Ayo Edebiri, Anya Taylor-Joy, Natasha Lyonne, Emily Ratajkowski, Alix Earle and more for performances from Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, The Roots, Nirvana, Post Malone, Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Chris Martin, Robyn and David Byrne.
