Michael Jordan’s most popular Air Jordan model is getting a pop of pink color in 2026.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro is set to arrive next year in what’s being dubbed a “Pink Thunder” colorway. The new style is expected to feature the black-based color blocking seen on the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder,” which debuted in 2006 and has since been reissued in 2012 and most recently, in 2023. The Jordan Brand has also issued Red Thunder and White Thunder looks in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
With a black nubuck base, the upcoming Pink Thunder pair is expected to feature matching color blocking to the other Thunder styles. This means fans can expect pink accenting on the midsole, lace wings and on the tongue and side panel mesh. Unlike other Thunder styles, the Pink Thunder pair is also expected to feature original-style Nike Air branding on the heel in place of the Jumpman logo. Note that the image pictured is a speculative mock-up of what the pair is expected to look like, although it’s likely the pair’s Rust Pink shade will be lighter than what’s seen here.

Jordan Brand has historically switched colors and materials on some of its most popular styles. Many of the most popular Air Jordan 1s feature the same design blocking. The same is true for the Air Jordan 12, which is often issued in black or white-based styles with pops of color across its mudguard.
And while the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 11 models have over the years been some of Jordan Brand’s most successful sneakers, they’ve taken a backseat to the Air Jordan 4 in recent times. From Nigel Sylvester’s Brick by Brick collaboration to the first-ever wide release of the Undefeated style and the long-awaited “Black Cat” return, the Air Jordan 4 has consistently been the brand’s most hyped model in ’25.
The upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro Pink Thunder will come exclusively in women’s sizing and is set for a holiday ’26 launch, according to @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files. Furthermore, according to Sneaker Market Romania, the pair’s style code is HV0823-001 with a full colorway of Black/White/Rust Pink. It’s expected to be priced at $220 when it’s released from nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers.
