Air Jordan 14 Retro ‘Chartreuse’ 2027 Release Date

As a general rule, the most popular Air Jordans tend to be the original styles that Michael Jordan played in, but that doesn’t mean the other colorways aren’t beloved in their own right. Along with news of the first-ever reissue of the Air Jordan 10 Retro “Red Steel,” another mid-2000s Jordan shoe is set to be rereleased for the very first time.

According to reputable leakers @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the latest style to join the 2005 revival is the Air Jordan 14 “Graphite Chartreuse,” which is often referred to simply as Chartreuse. With a full colorway of Light Graphite/Chartreuse/Black, the ’05 Air Jordan 14 style wasn’t an original release from the model’s 1998-99 run, but it was notable in its own right for being the very first Air Jordan 14 to receive a retro release. And that wasn’t the only first for the seldom seen colorway, as it marked the first time the model deviated from its typical leather construction for a full nubuck build.

While unique, the soon-to-be-reissued style isn’t the only Air Jordan 14 to don the Chartreuse green shade. Another ’05 release featured a white-based White/Chartreuse/Black color combination and like the gray pair, has yet to receive a rerelease. Yet despite the new report of a reissue for the latter, there’s no indication that the white colorway will be returning as well.

As for the Air Jordan 14 itself, the model has historically been somewhat overlooked in the Air Jordan franchise, particularly when it pertains to shoes that were worn in NBA action by Jordan. Its sports car-inspired design has been tied to significant moments in Jordan’s career such as the “Last Shot” style and has also been released in popular new looks such as an on-the-nose Ferrari colorway

The Air Jordan 14 Retro Chartreuse will be released during spring 2027 for a to-be-determined retail price. The pair will be available from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers.
