Aesthetic Doctor Antoni Calmon Dies at Age 41

PARIS – French aesthetic doctor Antoni Calmon, whose practice inspired the beauty brand PERS Skincare, has died at age 41.

“We will remember him as a man of great humanity,” a post on his Instagram page read Saturday evening. “Passionate about his work, he practiced with rare talent, guided by his love of beauty in all its forms and the sincere care and attention he gave to everyone.”

Calmon practiced regenerative and dermatological medicine, and had offices in Paris and London.

PERS launched in 2023 in French pharmacies and select retail distribution. It was developed to be both individual and universal, melding the worlds of dermocosmetics and prestige skin care into a clearly organized product line and ritual.

PERS was cofounded by Quentin Douce and Sophie-Lisa Prêcheur. The idea for the brand originally came after Prêcheur consulted with Calmon, who gave his patients beauty prescriptions, including a straightforward, four-step face care routine.

Calmon championed patients’ empowerment. He developed a protocol that included steps to protect, beautify, repair and stimulate skin. Calmon had his patients sift through their beauty products to see which properly and best could be used in each of those four categories.

Calmon’s survivors include his partner Alessandro Moriconi and sister Magali Calmon, who serves as director of Antoni Calmon’s aesthetic medicine clinic in Paris’ 8th arrondissement.
