Adidas Superstar Predator HQ9303 Release Date

Adidas has been leading soccer’s expedition into lifestyle sneakers for years, a trend that only looks likely to grow stronger as the 2026 World Cup draws near. And while the Predator has played a role in a few sneakers, there’s still much opportunity left for the boot franchise to offer more off the pitch.

The Adidas Superstar Predator mashes up its flagship soccer cleat with the classic sneaker that’s even older. While the overall shape of the sneaker stays true to the elder model, its Three Stripes motif takes on the appearance of fangs to incorporate the Predator. Continuing with the aggressive theme is the use of crocodile-textured leather throughout the upper, which maintains a clean metallic silver on black color treatment.

There might not be a model from Adidas that’s experimenting more with new looks from disparate places. Kith recently made the 55-year-old sneaker fit for a black-tie affair with five variants, while Clot has given it the sensibilities of boots and several types of dress shoes over the last two years. Wales Bonner also gave the shoe a suede high-top makeover, and AVAVAV turned it into a clown shoe in a non-pejorative sense. In-line, a Superstar boot just dropped right in time for winter.

Meanwhile, the Predator has been paired with Megaride cushioning, and its DNA has carried over to a few other scattered sneakers without studs.

The Adidas Superstar Predator doesn’t yet have a release date but is expected to release before the end of the year through Adidas’ website and select third-party retailers. Pricing hasn’t yet been confirmed.
