“Ginny & Georgia” star Antonia Gentry has launched her first-ever fashion collaboration with sustainable clothing brand Organic Basics. The 16-piece collection of essential tees, bralettes, pants, and cardigans are building blocks for an everyday wardrobe, however Gentry’s Gen Z touch imbues each ethically-sourced style with trend-forward features like earth-toned colorways and textural details.
“With this collection, I was able to curate certain details and I felt like my own personal style was really able to shine through,” says Gentry, who’s often seen in delicate designer frocks and chic matching sets. “The pieces can go well with just about any sort of layering. They’re vibrant and incredibly soft, so you can throw on your favorite handbag and a nice elevated heel for a full look.”
For the collection’s colors, Gentry was inspired by tones found in nature — but chose not to restrict the collection to classic neutrals. Instead, Gentry’s Organic Basics’ capsule collection mimics the colors of juicy tangerines, matcha tea leaves, sun-kissed clay, and more. These earth tones tap into some of fall’s most prominent color trends, as seen on recent Fendi, Max Mara, and Burberry runways.
“What’s so great about this collection is you can feel good about the clothes that you’re wearing, but also add in those touches of luxury accessories to make the pieces stand out even more,” Gentry explains. The capsule collection’s range of textures, colors, and silhouettes allows for simple mixing and matching, which, according to Gentry, bodes well for on-trend fall styling with other basics or investment pieces in your wardrobe. “I’ll throw on one of the mock neck minidresses with a Prada bag and add some interesting tights or stockings, then layer leg warmers on top.”
Gentry adds that she wore the Soft Knit Rib Flare Pants to the airport after she recently wrapped filming season three of “Ginny & Georgia,” teaming leg-lengthening piece with chunky Naked Wolfe sneakers. “The pants draped beautifully over the sneakers, and I love the way they puddle around the foot,” she adds.
Gentry wears the Core Rib Mock Neck Long Sleeve Tee and Core Rib Shorty in the new Morning Dew colorway.
A few pieces in the collection are Organic Basics bestsellers done in Gentry’s carefully curated color palette, like the Soft Knit Crop Cardigan — now available in five new shades — that falls beautifully on all body types with its thick organic cotton and recycled nylon construction. Other pieces are entirely new for the brand, including the Soft Knit Rib Leg Warmers and the Mock Neck Dress.
