Juno Temple moved her crystal-covered Paris Texas streak from silver to hot pink Friday in New York City, wearing the brand’s Marina embellished platform sandals during her New York promo run for season four of “Ted Lasso.”

Temple opted for the Marina in Pink Ruby, a pink leather mule featuring a wide crystal-covered vamp, a slightly squared open toe and a thick platform wrapped in the same embellishment. The backless silhouette stood on a slim 130mm stiletto heel with a dark tip. From the front, the saturated upper and platform created an almost uninterrupted block of hot pink, broken only by the narrow peep-toe opening.

The Pink Ruby version originally retailed for $1,015 and is currently marked down to $710 on sites like Mytheresa. While the colorway is no longer available on Paris Texas’ website, the brand offers the Marina Mule 130 in black patent leather for $1,090, along with a tortoiseshell iteration for $1,190, preserving the exaggerated platform and tapered heel in a high-shine finish.

Temple paired the mules with GCDS’ Animalier Rouche Mini Dress in Orchid Pink. The chiffon style featured thin adjustable straps, a fitted bodice and a flared asymmetric skirt constructed from ruched ruffle tiers. Leopard spots, florals and winding snakes wove through the pink and mauve print. She added a metallic pink shoulder bag and rose-tinted sunglasses, keeping the styling within the same color range while contrasting the shoes’ dense crystal finish with the dress’ lighter ruffles.
Friday’s pair followed three appearances in Paris Texas’ silver Holly Marina mules earlier this week. Those shoes featured 145mm cone heels, 40mm platforms and micro-crystal-covered suede. Temple wore them with a pale pink Salih Balta minidress, a vintage teal Gucci by Tom Ford halter dress and PatBo’s pink Amelia embroidery minidress.

The latest Marina kept the open back, broad front and towering platform of the silver Hollys, but exchanged their cool metallic finish for concentrated pink and what looks like a slimmer stiletto. Even Temple’s black footwear stayed elevated this week: she wore crisscross platform wedges with a pink miniskirt at “Ted Lasso” Night in Kansas City on Wednesday.
“Sexy is an attitude,” Paris Texas founder Annamaria Brivio told FN in June, saying her priority is to “inject uniqueness in every style.” She pointed to proportions, materials and details as the elements that make the brand’s designs less predictable.
