Nordstrom NYC is getting into the U.S. Open spirit.
It has launched Polo Ralph Lauren at The Corner, a limited-time pop-up shop that brings the spirit of Polo Ralph Lauren to life through an immersive retail experience.
The six-week installation, which runs through Sept. 20, features Polo Ralph Lauren’s latest U.S. Open Collection alongside a curated assortment of signature Polo Ralph Lauren pieces for men, women, children and home. Guests can also participate in a “Create-Your-Own” personalization experience, customizing select apparel and accessories through custom printing embroidery or debossing, making each piece unique.
Throughout the installation, a series of special events will be hosted in the space, including celebratory cocktails, product styling sessions and personalization animations.

Emily Crandall, executive vice president and general manager of women’s and men’s apparel at Nordstrom, told WWD: “This partnership reinforces Nordstrom’s role as a destination where customers can experience the best of fashion, culture and community in a fresh, immersive way. The Corner has become a signature part of our NYC flagship, and bringing Polo Ralph Lauren into that space, especially with a dedicated U.S. Open shop, lets us celebrate one of America’s most iconic brands during a relevant cultural moment while giving customers a reason to discover something new when they visit Nordstrom.”

Crandall expects that the Polo Bear graphics will be a standout. “The U.S. Open Polo Bear T and accessories spark nostalgia, joy and will be great pieces to collect. We are also loving the striped rugby, which feels incredibly fresh as prep continues to trend and strikes the perfect balance of classic and current. The cheerful color story ties it all together, while the iconic polos and accessories like hats and bags round out what we expect to be customer favorites,” said Crandall.
Last year, Nordstrom celebrated the U.S. Open with a focused moment in New York City through their Spectator Collection. This year, the retailer has a more immersive shop.
“The expanded offering reaches beyond women’s apparel into men’s and kids’, creating multiple touch points for customers and bringing the excitement of the tournament to life across the store,” Crandall said. “This is also the first year we’ve carried official U.S. Open product at Nordstrom.”

Crandall said that The Corner is one of their most dynamic spaces at the NYC flagship, “and it’s important to us that it reflects the energy of the moment. With the U.S. Open right around the corner, this pop-up lets us bring that same energy into the store, inviting customers to immerse themselves with Polo Ralph Lauren, beyond just the product.”
Women’s apparel runs from $68 to $698, men’s ranges from $50 to $898, and kids’ ranges from $25 to $160. There are also accessories such as hats under $50.
