MILAN — RH, the upscale American furniture-maker and interiors firm, is revving up in the world of auto racing. On Tuesday, the firm revealed that it is embarking on a multiyear partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team to bring the California-based company’s luxury design vision to the team’s global hospitality footprint.
Under the terms of the deal, RH will serve as the team’s global interior design and luxury furnishings curator and will redesign and provide the furniture for hospitality spaces across race destinations, clubs and the team’s U.K. headquarters. The partnership will kick off in late 2026 kicking off with Abu Dhabi, followed by Miami, Monaco and Silverstone, the motor racing circuit in England, in 2027.
Mercedes AMG Petronas team is a partnership between the German automaker’s high-performance automotive division and Petronas, the Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas company. The team was formed in 2010 when Mercedes-Benz returned to Formula 1 as a works team.
In a statement, RH’s chairman and chief executive officer Gary Friedman explained that partnerships are essential for growth.
“Over the last two decades, we’ve learned that great partnerships have the power to accelerate growth, inspire innovation and elevate everything around them. Much of RH’s success has been built through connections to the world’s most talented designers, artisans and manufacturing partners — individuals and organizations that challenge conventional thinking and set the standard in their respective fields,” he said.

RH celebrated the partnership on Saturday during the British Grand Prix 2026 at the brand’s expansive location RH England, The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park. At the event, Friedman and his family were joined by Toto Wolff, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team principal, alongside Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli and celebrities like Bianca Jagger and actors Daisy Edgar-Jones, Lucien Laviscount and Kaya Scodelario.
Despite a challenging real estate market and macroeconomic climate, RH saw 2025 fiscal year net revenues rise 8.1 percent to $3.44 billion, while net income increased 72 percent to $124.7 million, or $6.65 a share.
