Fourth of July weekend is here, and while the country is celebrating 250 years of independence in 2026, retailers are also using the occasion to push some new sales for summer.
While Fourth of July has traditionally been known for sales on mattresses, bedding and home goods, the shopping holiday has now expanded to include deals on fashion and footwear as well. We’ve spotted discounts up to 60% off on sites like Adidas, Nike and New Balance, with even more savings at multi-brand stores like DSW and Zappos.
And while the recent Amazon Prime Day event offered a handful of footwear deals, those offers were generally limited to old stock or more basic silhouettes. We’ve rounded up some Fourth of July shoe deals that get you a discount on everything from Air Max sneakers to rare savings on On running bestsellers.
Adidas’ Summer Sale gets you an extra 30% off full price and sale styles with the promo code SAVE. We played around with the discount code and were able to use it on popular silhouettes like the Adidas Gazelles (above), ULTRABOOST sneakers and even the brand’s limited-edition collaboration with Liberty of London.
It’s not just shoes that are on sale at Adidas this weekend — you can also use the promo code to save on apparel and accessories including official merch from the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The catch: only merch from the eliminated teams is on sale.
Amazon
Amazon Prime Day may be over but the site still has hundreds of shoes on sale this weekend. Our suggestion: use Amazon’s Fourth of July sale to shop for sandals, hiking shoes, water shoes and other summer essentials. These cork sandals above, for example, are on sale for just around $20.
ASICS
ASICS has select shoe styles discounted by more than 50% off, with models starting at just $25 online. Plus: shop their “Last Chance” section to pick up additional savings on top silhouettes like their Dynablast and GT-2000 before they sell out.
Brooks
Brooks is offering up to 35% off bestselling styles for men and women. Among the models on sale from running shoe brand: the Ghost 17, Ghost Max 3, Hyperion Max 3, Hyperion Elite 5 and Cascadia 19. See more details here.
Brooks has running apparel and accessories on sale too — think everything from shorts and tank tops to running caps — with pieces start from just $10 online.
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Dick’s “Epic Fourth of July” sale offers up to 50% off shoes, apparel and sporting equipment online with an extra 30% off select clearance items — no promo code required. We spotted footwear brands like ON, HOKA, Nike and Adidas on sale, as well as soccer cleats, baseball cleats and golf shoes.
You can also score a discount on regular price merchandise with the promo code SPARKLERS at checkout. How patriotic.
Bestselling silhouettes that are part of the sale include the unisex 9060, 1906R and 530 sneakers, the Fresh Foam running shoes and the popular MX608v5 men’s training shoes.
We spotted Nike Air Max, Air Force 1, Vaporfly and Pegasus shoes all discounted online, with multiple sizes and colorways still in stock. Jordan Brand sneakers are also on sale right now, starting at just $26. Nike members get free shipping on orders over $50.
On
On almost never discounts its collection but if you dig around online right now, you can find up to $90 off previous season models as part of the On site’s “Last Season” section.
The deals include almost all of On’s bestselling styles, from the Cloudrunner and Cloundmonster to the Roger Clubhouse Pro tennis shoe, co-created with tennis champ Roger Federer.
Models on sale include the popular Speedcat sneaker, the Speedcat ballet flat-inspired shoe, unisex Cool Cat slides and Puma’s recently collaborations with Wicked, BMW and the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team.
