Taylor Swift is finally getting her fairytale ending.
Less than a year after her surprise engagement, the 36-year-old Grammy-winning artist is rumored to say “I do” to her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, this Fourth of July weekend, during a private ceremony held inside Madison Square Garden.
Like most details surrounding her big day, Swift’s wedding dress remains under wraps, leaving fans with burning questions about what her bridal beauty will be. Will she stick with her signature red lip or swap it for a modest nude? Will her fringe lie flat or will it fall to the side of her forehead? Most importantly, might we see the return of her beloved blond curls? Only time will tell — and knowing Swift, we might be waiting a while.
In the meantime, WWD is taking a look back at the “Love Story” singer’s bridal-like beauty through the years.

Celebrating the opening of “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” at the 2010 Met Gala, Swift donned an ivory plissé shoulderless gown by Ralph Lauren. She accented the elegant look with her trademark red lip and muddy blond mermaid waves, which were pinned around her chin as if she had a bob. Meanwhile, her fringe was combed off to one side of her forehead above a classic, sparkly smoky eye and winged liner.
Though she seldom reveals her lip shade, Swift has been known to favor a palette of red lipsticks over the years, often returning to the matte, terracotta “Morocco” shade by Nars, according to her makeup artist Lorrie Turk. A few of her other favorites include MAC’s Ruby Woo, Nars’ Dragon Girl, Pat McGrath Labs’ Elson 4 and Chanel’s Pirate.

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards saw Swift pair a monochromatic pantsuit with the statement-making lip shade, pin-straight hair and flat-ironed fringe. Her eyes also boasted their usual liquid black wing with a metallic shimmer on the lids and a Gothic charcoal hue buffed in her waterline. To embellish the eye-catching color on her lips, the “You Belong With Me” singer painted her nails in a ruby red hue.

The 41st annual Fragrance Foundation Awards, hosted a year later, brought out an edgier energy in Swift. Here, the vocalist juxtaposed a mature half-sheer white gown with a ballerina bun, blue eyeliner in her bottom lash line, coral and bronze eye shadow on her lids, black mascara and a nude lip.

Two years later, Swift pushed the bounds of her beauty yet again, pairing a white, deep V-cut gown with a shaggy bob. The long, curly ends she was once revered for were now chopped to her chin, while her bangs mingled over her brows. At the same time, her eyes were free of the ultimate Millennial marker, winged liner, and colored with a melting pot of brown, bronze and dusty gray shadow, visible in her waterline, too. Even Swift’s lips weren’t coated in her usual shade; they were lined in a pale pink gloss instead.
