Hoka‘s Mach running shoe franchise is catered to speed training, having recently been updated with the Mach 7. A new spin on the series is pivoting to lifestyle for what the brand is calling its sleekest silhouette yet.
The Hoka Mach Remastered caters to everyday wear with an upper aesthetic pulling from the brand’s older models and a supercritical foam offering contemporary comfort. A ripstop base is overlaid pressed film paneling in weaving patterns and 3D-printed brand marks. Metal eyelets provide a sense of refinement without the worries of weight reduction for running, while the film tongue features raw edges.
For its debut, the Mach Remastered is available via Hoka in “Carbon Black” and “Galactic Grey,” retain monochrome color treatments for men, and more variance comes via a mix of black, white, metallic silver and “Habanero” red. Both women’s variants stick with monochrome in either “Frost/Cosmic Grey” or “Putty/Cement.”
And for more color options, third-party stockists also have a wider range, including a purple, black and white pair for women at Nordstrom.
The Mach franchise has been running since 2018, and in addition to its mainline numbered series features an “X” series bolstered with a carbon fiber plate now on its third iteration.
The Hoka Mach Remastered is out now through Hoka’s website and stores, as well as select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $145.
