Fans of the original 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada” are expecting the actress duo to showcase a remarkable wardrobe befitting of their characters. During the red carpet for the movie’s world premiere at the Anahuacalli Museum, Hathaway arrived in a Stella McCartney fall 2026 ensemble and dress, which was style exactly as it first appeared on the runway earlier this month.
The vegan leather boots managed to be the center of attention even when paired with a vibrant sequined dress. The shoes featured a thigh-high design with a loose, baggier fit throughout the leg. The slouchy boots stand on a wooden cone-shaped heel measuring around three inches. The shoe is designed with an almond-shaped toe. The actress paired them with gray sheer stockings and a pink sequined, long-sleeve minidress with a flared skirt.

Ahead of the premiere, Hathaway and Streep held a Q&A and conference at Casa Azul on Monday, and both actress opted for statement heels for the event. Hathaway went with the Schiaparelli Keyhole patent keyhole pumps, which retail for $2,200. The pointed-toe pump was crafted from a lustrous black patent leather with a leather lining and is decorated with the maison’s signature gold-tone metal keyhole detail on the vamp.
The shoe features a low-cut, wavy design at the sides and its 105mm heel, which is slightly flared, accentuated the actress’ leg shape. She paired the pumps with a black Schiaparelli fringed pencil skirt and fringed cowboy shirt, and a Schiaparelli eye bijou belt in gold.

Streep, who is reprising her role as Miranda Priestly, stepped out at the event channeling the powerful magazine editor’s energy in Aldos Amilie heels in a medium red shade, which retail for $110. The Amelie style, features a slingback high heel design, with a closed pointy toe, a stiletto heel measuring 3.75 inches and a slip-on design.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2,” which hits theaters on May 1, checks back in with Miranda Priestly and “Runway” magazine as they struggle against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media, while Miranda nears retirement.
