Unifly acquires EuroUSC-Benelux to expand drone regulatory and compliance consulting across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
Unifly, a global leader in UAS Traffic Management (UTM) solutions, has acquired EuroUSC-Benelux, a consultancy specializing in drone regulation, safety, and operational compliance. The deal expands Unifly Consulting’s presence across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
Unifly Acquires EuroUSC-Benelux to Build Pan-European Drone Consulting
EuroUSC-Benelux provides regulatory compliance, training, and examination services. The firm supports authorities, UAS operators, and manufacturers. Michael Maes, who managed EuroUSC-Benelux, brings expertise in operational authorizations, Specific Operations Risk Assessments (SORA), and specialized drone training.
The acquisition follows Unifly’s earlier purchase of SORA Consulting in Switzerland. Together, these moves build a pan-European consulting footprint. Unifly Consulting now combines UTM technology with regional regulatory knowledge across multiple markets.
“Building strong local capability is essential to Unifly’s mission to enable autonomous aviation,” said Andres Van Swalm, CEO of Unifly.
Expanding Drone Regulatory Support Across Europe
Unifly’s platform connects authorities, drone operators, and stakeholders. It digitizes and automates airspace management. Through Unifly Consulting, the company pairs UTM solutions with regulatory guidance, SORA analyses, and operational strategy.
EuroUSC-Benelux adds established local expertise to that ecosystem. The acquisition strengthens Unifly’s ability to deliver consistent, locally grounded drone consulting services across Europe.
Unifly, a subsidiary of Terra Drone Corporation, operates UTM deployments in more than ten countries. The company has completed major projects including the BURDI U-space initiative and FAA detect-and-avoid validation.
