Reebok Angel Reese 1 Tie-Dye ‘Unapologetically Angel’ Release Date

Angel Reese’s debut signature sneaker will soon receive its most colorful look yet, one which has already arrived prematurely at some retailers before quietly being pulled.

Said to be nicknamed “Unapologetically Angel,” which is the same name of the WNBA star’s weekly podcast, the upcoming Reebok Angel Reese 1 dons an Atomic Aqua/Dream Purple colorway, one which is far more vibrant than its color description may suggest. The sneaker’s  molded TPU structure cage has been given a swirling tie-dye treatment in a mix of spring-friendly pastels. The splotchy dye effect is used only on the TPU cage, with the rest of the shoe mixing light shades of blue, green and purple to tell its seasonal story.

Reese’s Angel Reese 1 was introduced to retail in September 2025 and is notable not only for being the Chicago Sky star’s first shoe, but Reebok’s first signature basketball sneaker since former Washington Wizards standout John Wall’s Zig Escape in 2012. 

“I wanted to design a basketball shoe that elevates performance, innovation, style, and creative expression, all at once. Reebok and I built something that’s true to who I am, and I hope it pushes others to stand in their power too. At the end of the day, it’s built for basketball – made to move and perform at the highest level,” Reese said in a press release following the model’s debut.

Thus far, the Reebok Angel Reese 1 has been released in various colorways tied to her personal story and on-court prowess. It debuted with three launch colorways: a pink “Mebounds,” a black-and-white “Receipts Ready” and an iridescent “Diamond Dust.” The sneaker has since dropped in a Baltimore-inspired “Charm City” (aka “Homecoming”) style and a Valentine’s Day-timed “Mauve Reign” look, among others.

As for the tie-dyed Unapologetically Angel Reebok Angel Reese 1 makeup, the pair was released early from Foot Locker’s e-commerce store, although it’s currently unavailable for purchase. A wider official release date has not yet been confirmed, but readers can expect the style to be released soon from reebok.com and select retailers for $130. The style code for the new colorway is 100262063.
