Samuel L. Jackson Searches for His Superstars in Adidas Campaign

Where are Samuel L. Jackson‘s Superstars?

This is the mystery at the heart of Adidas Originals‘ upcoming spring 2026 campaign, which the brand is teasing with a first look at the actor’s quest to find his sneakers.

Jackson, who was featured in a campaign for the Superstar style in 2025, is back for the latest chapter, with director Thibaut Grevet returning as well. Keeping the color scheme from last year, a black-and-white campaign image showcases the actor seated on steps, wearing an Adidas tracksuit with a collared shirt and tie — but the outfit isn’t complete yet, as he’s barefoot.

The accompanying video follows Jackson driving a car as he says, with his signature zeal and penchant for expletives, “Come hell or high water, I’m gonna find ’em. And when I find them motherf–kers, let’s just say…I’m gonna wear. Them. Out.”

With the full campaign yet to be released, it remains open-ended whether Jackson will find his Superstars. (This wouldn’t be the first time he lost a key wardrobe item — his character Frozone from “The Incredibles” famously asks his wife, “Where is my super suit?!”)

For Adidas Originals, Jackson narrated a 2025 campaign called “Pyramids,” which likens Adidas Superstars to pyramids, as part of “The Original” campaign honoring the brand’s defining styles.

Jackson said in the black-and-white “Pyramids” video, in which he’s seated at a table, “Do you ever wonder why people still talk about pyramids? They ain’t shiny, they don’t light up. No Wi-Fi. No holograms. And not even a food court. But 4,000 years later, people still fly across the world to see ’em.” The clip eventually reveals a pair of Adidas Superstars. “And there ain’t nothing else like ’em now,” the actor added. “Except these motherf–kers.”

The second chapter of that Superstar campaign, called “Clocks,” featured Missy Elliott, Mark Gonzales, Anthony Edwards, GloRilla, Teezo Touchdown, Jennie and Gabbriette in a film narrated by Jackson.

The Superstar, included on FN’s Greatest Shoes of All Time list from 2024, were first offered to the public in 1970, presented as a low-top basketball shoe. Known for its shell-toe design, the sneaker has transcended sport to become associated with the world of hip-hop and beyond. It’s served as a site of creativity for a number of collaborations and remains one of the brand’s most iconic shoes.
