Rihanna walked through New York City snow in the late hours of Sunday evening, bundling up in Vaquera’s Giant Faux Fur-Trimmed Aviator Jacket in green over a monochrome sweatsuit and white sneakers.

The aviator jacket, from New York label Vaquera, came in a sage green, satin finish shell with a boxy, oversized cut. The style features a faux-fur–trimmed hood, various zip pockets and ribbed cuffs. A wide panel of white faux fur wrapped across the shoulders and hood, emphasizing the jacket’s blown-up proportions.
Underneath the aviator jacket, she kept the palette light. The Fenty Founder wore a cream sweatshirt and matching wide-leg sweatpants. A chunky knit scarf in a similar shade covered her neck and chin. She accessorized with a large black leather bag, oversized black rectangular sunglasses, small hoop earrings and stacked gold rings, completing the look with a pair of low-top suede white sneakers.

The cozy set followed sharper looks earlier in the weekend. Just a day prior, Rihanna and Rocky marked Valentine’s Day at Manhattan’s Michelin-starred Caviar Russe, where she wore a red knit dress with a semi-sheer lower panel, a cinched black leather jacket, a red-and-black fur scarf and pointed cherry-red pumps. Two nights earlier, she sat front row at Rocky’s AWGE fall 2026 show at Hall des Lumières in New York, wearing an all-black look built around a black leather AWGE coat with a high back slit, sheer tights and stilettos.

Vaquera has already been in her New York rotation this season. In January, Rihanna wore pieces from the label in a layered rugby-shirt and coat look, pairing the Vaquera separates with leggings and white Amina Muaddi heels.
Her latest appearance also tracks with celebrities’ latest penchant for aviator jackets and fur-trimmed coats as key cold-weather shapes, especially in oversized cuts with unique pockets and padded shoulders. In late December, Mariah Carey wore a long, belted Valentino Garavani coat in textured beige with a plush fur-trimmed collar while shopping in Aspen, and Goldie Hawn chose an oversize white fur coat with black boots for a polo event in the resort town. Rihanna’s Vaquera version brings that trend into a monochrome, comfort-first frame suited to a snowy New York night.
