After quietly introducing its designer-approved P400 basketball sneaker, New Balance is quickly following up with the announcement and subsequent release of another new hoops model.
This time, the Boston-based athletic footwear company adds a new low-top option to its lineup in the form of the P350. According to New Balance, the P350 is the latest evolution of its low-cut Hesi Low model, which has presumably been renamed.
And while the P400 looked to late 1990s and early 2000s on-court inspiration for its mid-cut styling, the P350 takes a page from New Balance’s popular lifestyle models, namely the 1906R and 9060 with its skeletal TPU overlays. The inspiration is evident visually, as the new model has more in common with the brand’s everyday shoes than previous Hesi Low iterations.

The FuelCell-cushioned sneaker features a denser foam compound on its lateral side for added support and an updated outsole traction pattern, which New Balance says provides improved grip and smoother transitions. Designed specifically for “the quickest players on the court,” the P350 is equipped for quick cuts and pivots thanks to its strategic foam placement and upgraded outsole.
Alongside the P350 and P400 product launches, New Balance unveiled its Quiet Nose campaign featuring brand athletes Tyrese Maxey, Cooper Flagg, Darius Garland, Cameron Brink, Aaliyah Crump and Sienna Betts. In the campaign, which will continue to roll out throughout NBA All-Star Weekend, players wear both new models as well as a new collection of performance apparel.

“We’re building the campaign around the courts where the game is played, the work that happens when no one is watching, and the family you build along the way. That’s a very New Balance idea: in a category often shaped by brands and products trying to out-shout one another, we’re comfortable continuing to express this brand in an honest, understated way,” Ian Fitzpatrick, global senior director of performance marketing at New Balance, said in a press release.
Along with the P400, the New Balance P350 is available now from newbalance.com and select retailers. Debuting in a NB 103 White/Black colorway (style code UHSL5L1), the model retails at $110.
