Bad Bunny won Best Música Urbana Album at the 2026 Grammys for his eventual Album of the Year winner DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. The singer took the category in its fifth year, ahead of J Balvin (Mixteip), Feid (Ferxxo Vol X: Sagrado), Nicki Nicole (Naiki), Trueno (EUB Deluxe), and Yandel (Sinfónico (En Vivo)).
In his acceptance speech, the Puerto Rican artist said: “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out. We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans. Also I want to say to the people: I know it’s tough not to hate these days, and I was thinking… I don’t know the word in English, contaminados. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people, and we love our family. And that’s the way to do it, with love. Don’t forget that please. Thank you.”
This is Bad Bunny’s third time winning the award, which he previously brought home in 2023 (for Un Verano Sin Ti) and 2022 (for El Último Tour del Mundo). Fellow nominee J Balvin has received six nominations since the 2019 Grammys Awards. Nicki Nicole and Trueno were first-time nominees in the category.
