Jessie Buckley joined the white shoe trend in Jimmy Choo Romy pumps and archival Prada for the Hamnet awards screening and Q&A at Picturehouse Central in London on Friday night.
The newly minted Golden Globe winner’s shoes were Jimmy Choo’s classic Romy courts in white satin. The pumps featured a sharply pointed toe, a slim high stiletto heel and a low, scooped vamp. A smooth heel counter and fine sole kept the profile clean, putting the emphasis on the extended toe and straight heel line that have defined the Romy shape since its debut.

Buckley paired the stilettos with a tan coat and skirt from Prada’s fall 1999 collection. The knee-length coat was cut with a straight silhouette and featured a collar and concealed placket, and finished with circular mirror insets stitched across the front and sleeves. A matching skirt in the same fabric repeated the motif with smaller discs scattered around the hem, visible beneath the open coat.

The Romy pump has been a core style for Jimmy Choo since it launched in 2016. The brand has sold more than 400,000 pairs and now produces the silhouette in four heel heights, from 60 mm to 110 mm, in materials ranging from leather and suede to satin and allover glitter. The style also appears in the house’s made-to-order program, where customers can personalize finishes and add initials to the soles. Creative director Sandra Choi previously described the Romy as “the perfect pump,” to FN, emphasizing the balance of line, comfort and proportion required to keep a pointed-toe court in circulation for nearly a decade.

High-profile fans of the Romy include Kate Middleton, Jill Biden, Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga, just to name a few. Buckley’s appearance at Picturehouse Central also aligned with the broader white shoe run that has been building across celebrity wardrobes since summer 2025 and has been ramping up once again as we get into the full swing of the 2026 awards season.
The screening added a new entry to Buckley’s recent heel streak for “Hamnet” promotion. Earlier in January, she wore Matthieu Blazy’s reworked Chanel cap-toe pumps on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” choosing a black-and-white version from the house’s spring 2026 collection.
