Chanel will open its newest boutique at the Town Center at Boca Raton, Fla., on Friday.
Designed by New York-based architect and longtime Chanel collaborator Peter Marino, the boutique spans 5,370 square feet and features fashion, watches and fine jewelry, and fragrance and beauty.
The shop is located in the center near such stores as Gucci, Cartier and Louis Vuitton.
“Florida is a key and incredibly important market for us,” said Rebekah McCabe, general manager of Chanel Fashion. Chanel also has freestanding Florida stores in Miami Design District, Bal Harbour, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Orlando. It previously had a Chanel in-store shop at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton, but that closed in early January. It also has a Chanel shop at Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables.
McCabe said Peter Marino designed the store specifically for Boca Raton and the color palettes, textures, finishes and materials “give it a nice sense of place.” She also said the artwork “plays a beautiful role.”
Marino draws inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s legendary apartment at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, translating its spirit into a contemporary setting. Layers of luminous gold tones flow throughout the space, reminiscent of the warmth and ambience of her storied residence.
The boutique has an expansive layout of eight individual salons, each designed with custom silk-wool carpets and hand-finished details.

Upon entering, clients are welcomed into two adjoining areas dedicated to leather goods and accessories. The entrance also leads to the boutique’s shoe salon, marked by custom Venini lighting by Marino as well as two half-tube chairs by Voukenas Petrides. Adjacent to this is a dedicated Fragrance & Beauty space.
Just beyond the shoe salon lies a separate area for Watches & Fine Jewelry. Moon gold plaster walls surround a coromandel screen displaying fine jewelry, while a black textured watch wall showcases four Gambone vessels, two Chinese lacquer boxes and a Gold Box by Johan Creten.
Toward the back of the boutique are three distinct ready-to-wear salons. The first features a pair of vibrant cobalt blue Augusto Bozzi chairs. The second embodies the House’s signature palette of black, ivory and gold, accented by a Monogold coffee table by French artist Yves Klein. The third salon, secluded in the boutique’s rear corner, offers a personalized experience for top clients. This intimate room pays homage to Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment, with a pair of Louis VI chairs, an antique Chinese coromandel screen, a Venini vase and a custom limestone top coffee table with a bronze base by Marino at its center.
Marino curated a selection of artworks for display throughout the boutique, as a tribute to Mademoiselle Chanel’s legacy as a patron of the arts.
The fitting rooms spotlight works by distinguished American artists, including an acrylic on linen canvas by Wyatt Kahn as well as an abstract, textured painting by Robert Greene. Just outside of the second fitting room, the vestibule showcases a striking black and white Palm Tree photograph by German artist Vera Lutter.
As guests move toward the Watches & Fine Jewelry salon, they encounter a gold modeling paste canvas by Florian & Michael Quistrebert. The adjoining room has a digital print on acrylic glass portrait of Mademoiselle Chanel by Austrian artist Norbert Brunner.
The boutique will open with the Chanel spring 2026 pre-collection. The collection features a mix of silk loungewear, soft knits and light tweed suiting appropriate for Southeast coast wearing.
The Chanel Watches & Fine Jewelry space will showcase the timeless Coco Crush, No.5 and Camelia Fine Jewelry collections alongside the iconic J12 and Première — including the latest Première Ribb Galon and Première Ribbon Red. The latest Coco Crush novelties feature the supple necklace and choker along with Signatures creations with the Ruban and Comète collections.
There is also a dedicated space that has the full range of Chanel fragrance, makeup and skin care products, including sensorial formulas from the Sublimage line and scents from No.5 and Les Exclusifs de Chanel. The boutique will highlight collections from the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio, skin care from the Chanel Research & Technology laboratory in Pantin, France, and fragrances from Chanel in-house perfumer creator Olivier Polge.

“I think it will be a unique expression of Chanel in Florida, while also feeling very luxurious and special,” McCabe said. She noted that the Boca Raton Mall is the leading luxury shopping destination in South Florida. “Boca is a highly dynamic market, strong local attractiveness, also growing tourism and a lot of new high-end developments. A lot of companies are moving there. So I feel like Boca is expanding, which is very exciting,” she said.
She noted that they had been working on the Chanel boutique in Boca Raton for the past 10 and a half months, and it took a while to find a great space. “It takes us a long time to find the right space and location that can meet the needs of the business. So we’ve been working on it for a few years, but finding the right space and then doing the construction.”
Once the Chanel shop at Saks closed, she said, “We wanted to ensure that our clients experience a seamless and elevated transition. So I think we’ll be reinforcing all of the ways that we can continue to service our clients in that market.”

Asked to describe the Boca customer, McCabe said, “I think that the Boca customer appreciates the beauty, timeless style and creativity of Chanel. She also likes understated luxury. We’ll be opening the boutique with our spring 2026 pre-collection, so they will have a strong presentation and unit depth of the assortments. Within our ‘one boutique, one story’ strategy, she will still see things unique to that store that she might not have discovered in other travels in Florida. We’ll also be able complement the breadth with depth in denim, knitwear, printed swimwear and light dresses, which are perfect for a warm weather climate.”
She also cited a great shoe salon with a wide selection of neutrals, denim breathable fabrics, ballerinas, mules, sandals and sneakers, along with their leather goods assortment.
When asked what she considers will be bestsellers, she cited knitwear, denim, leather and Chanel jackets, along with costume jewelry. “We’re able to capture the true Chanel allure in a new way in a market that hasn’t seen the whole brand come to life,” she said.
