Foot Locker NBA All-Star Weekend 2026: Early Air Jordan Drops

It’s nearly impossible to talk about NBA All-Star Weekend without touching on its ties to sneakers and for the third year in a row, retailer is once again descending on the annual happenings for a multi-day event highlighted by high-profile sneaker drops, athlete appearances and more activations.

The 2026 Foot Locker Takeover event will take place in downtown Los Angeles at the L.A. Live entertainment complex. Numerous footwear brands including Adidas, Converse, Crocs, Jordan Brand, Nike and Puma will be represented at the activation which also promises appearances from NBA stars Jayson Tatum and Lonzo Ball.

Of course, many attendees will be seeking the weekend’s numerous sneaker drops, which Foot Locker will, of course, have — and then some. The weekend’s Lakers-themed Air Jordan 4 Retro “Lakeshow” and Air Jordan 6 Retro Infrared “Salesman” styles will be available a few days early, while the Air Jordan 5 Retro Wolf Gray will be up for grabs weeks ahead of its official launch, which is expected on Feb. 28.

Beyond the product drops, Foot Locker Takeover will feature a “The Clinic” basketball setup featuring athlete appearance, skills challenges and more. Adidas has an “Antland” installation planned inspired by Edwards’ Atlanta birthplace, while Puma will host a “Hoops Drive-in Cinema” activation highlighted by its “Fast & Furious” collaboration
