“Sensual and simple” was how creative director Kim Bekker described her collection, which was for free-spirited souls seeking adventure on the open road.
The collection was in the spirit of the brand’s spring 2026 show, which was all about solo travel, open spaces and sleeping under the stars. “But it’s definitely ‘his’ wardrobe, with little crossover to the women’s. I want guys to make it their own,” Bekker said during a showroom presentation.
Bekker’s inspirations took in ’90s-era Brad Pitt, the American West and the color indigo, which she worked into nearly every piece of this rugged collection.
A denim jacket had a faux white shearling lining and subtle Navajo-inspired embroidery done in gold, while other tailored styles were made from cotton velvet. There were slim, straight jeans with a vintage feel, Osh Kosh-style striped styles and cotton drawstring trousers made from patches of faded denim, or khaki cotton, which came with matching jackets.
Cotton striped and lumberjack plaid shirts were breezy, and knits were lightweight and made for easy layering, with a fisherman knit one of the standouts. There were indigo corduroy chore jackets, and matching trousers, and a baseball jacket with the inscription “On the Road” with embroidery of trees, mountains and a sunset, the Marant man’s dream backdrop for fall.
