The Air Jordan 11 is traditionally one of Nike, Inc.’s most closely guarded silhouettes, never having received an official collaboration — until now.
On-the-ground photos from Paris Fashion Week were shared by @yvkiabe of a never-before-seen Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Air Jordan 11 Retro. Previewed in tonal black and white colorways, each pair keeps with the Japanese fashion label’s signature ethos of premium, monochromatic design.
The pairs don’t seek to reinvent the iconic model, maintaining the Air Jordan 11’s standout patent leather mudguard, rubber outsole and thick rope shoelaces. The main changes occur on the upper, which swaps out the shoe’s usual ballistic nylon for a full-leather construction that extends to the lace loops, heel tabs and tongues.

The lateral is stamped with the Jumpman logo in its traditional placement, while the medial side features a Comme des Garçons Homme Plus logo that also appears on the co-branded insole. Michael Jordan’s 23 uniform number is stamped on the heel, while the tongue appears to feature the Air Jordan 11’s standard Jumpman Jordan woven tag.
Founded by designer Rei Kawakubo in 1969, Comme des Garçons has in recent years become known for its black, white and sometimes, two-tone black-and-white renditions of athletic footwear with a wide variety of brands. Some of the label’s most popular work with Nike, Inc. includes its zen garden-like interpretation of the Air Foamposite One, deconstructed Air Max 95s and various versions of the Air Force 1.
And though it’s the first we’ve seen, the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus project reportedly won’t be the only Air Jordan 11 collaboration of 2026. The Whitaker Group retailer APB is scheduled to release a Binary Blue/Binary Blue/Rust Pink/Sail/Steel colorway of the sneaker this fall.

Beyond its collaborations with Nike, Comme des Garçons has popular partnerships with brands including Asics, Converse and New Balance. Paris Fashion Weeks previews also included new footwear projects with both Asics and New Balance.
Release details for the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Air Jordan 11 Retro were not immediately available, but given its inclusion in the fall ’26 lineup, readers can likely expect a launch around the holiday season. Given the premium nature of the collaboration, the pair will likely come with a considerably increased retail price, which has historically been the standard for Comme des Garçons collaborations. Availability is anticipated from Dover Street Market and select retailers in limited-edition quantities.
