Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had a rare date night appearance in New York City last night, arriving at the “Saturday Night Live” after party at Saks Fifth Avenue in two distinct boot looks.
Rihanna wore Loewe’s New Comic boot in two-tone stretch lambskin and suede, a knee-high style that spliced black leather with taupe suede through the shaft and down a pointed toe. The Italian-made boots featured a 90mm heel and a single gold donut-link ankle chain circling the black leather panel, and retail for $2,300 on Loewe’s site.

The rest of her look picked up the boot’s mixed neutrals. The Fenty founder wore a beige zip-front Saint Laurent jacket with navy bands at the shoulders and chest over a black pencil skirt, finishing the base of the look with a navy New York Yankees cap, oversized black sunglasses and a navy top-handle bag. She later added a brown-and-gray shearling Prada coat over the jacket for extra warmth.

The Loewe boots followed another stiletto moment in New York the night before. For A$AP Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb” album release, Rihanna kept it sleek in white patent Amina Muaddi Anok pumps, styling the pointed-toe pair with black Balenciaga knife pants and layered tailoring.

That history sits alongside a formal partnership: Muaddi created a footwear capsule for Rihanna’s Fenty label in 2020, a collaboration that later earned FNAA recognition. On this “SNL” night, though, the focus shifted to Loewe, adding another luxury house to Rihanna’s current rotation after previous custom projects with the brand, including her viral pregnancy reveal look at 2023 Super Bowl halftime.

Rocky matched Rihanna’s patchwork energy with head-to-toe Chanel by Matthieu Blazy: a long graphic coat from the Métiers d’art 2026 collection over a red V-neck knit and white T-shirt, light-wash jeans and a crystal-buckle belt, finished with deep red leather oxford shoes from Chanel. The two have a history of subtly matching, especially when it comes to their couple style:
