Angel Reese brought the fur-trim boot trend straight to courtside in Berlin while supporting boyfriend Wendell Carter Jr. at the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Orlando Magic game Friday night.
The Chicago Sky forward arrived at Uber Arena wearing Jennifer Le’s Blue Leopard X Fox Runway thigh-high boots, a pointed-toe stiletto silhouette wrapped in an electric blue-and-black leopard pattern and finished with oversized bands of black fox fur that spiral up the leg — a color palette complementary to the Orlando Magic’s team colors.

Reese paired the boots with a long, sleeveless fur vest cut in a checkerboard of plush blocks in complementary hues of black, cobalt blue and gray. She layered the fur outerwear over a fitted black long-sleeve top and glossy black pants. The WNBA star kept the accessories textural, too, opting for a black fur hat and narrow black sunglasses. The look was styled by The Reisman’s.
Reese’s fur-lined footwear choice landed in the middle of a winter stretch where boots keep picking up fuzzy texture, especially fur. Ciara performed in Moon Boot’s faux-fur Icon Yeti Tall boots last December, while Crocs made “boots with the fur” the literal punchline of its Croctober marketing with the Unfurgettable knee-high.

Jennifer Le, for her part, has become a frequent reference point whenever celebrities want that specific mix of height, surface texture and showpiece trim. Mary J. Blige wore chinchilla fur boots from the label on her “For My Fans” tour in March 2025, and Ashanti’s stylist Tim B. has described Jennifer Le boots as a long-running performance staple for the singer: “she has had a leotard on and boots. That’s her,” he previously told FN, adding that repeat wear comes down to comfort and durability.
Reese’s Berlin boots don’t come out of nowhere. In early December, she wore Gianvito Rossi’s pointed-toe Gianvito 105 pumps to Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show, and her red carpet looks have often leaned on sharp slingbacks and stilettos.

Reese’s Reebok lane has stayed active into late 2025. The Angel Reese 1 returned in the “Giving Grace” and “King Tiago” colorways in late November, with pairs available through Reebok while supplies lasted. Reese also tied the signature line to community work around the same time: Reebok and the Angel C. Reese Foundation supplied Angel Reese 1 shoes and custom apparel to the girls’ basketball program at Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.
