Christian Dior Couture Americas Names a New President

Christian Dior Couture Americas has a new president, and she comes from within.

Charlotte Holman Ros starts Feb. 1 at the French fashion house, moving over from her current role as president of Parfums Christian Dior for North America.

Holman Ros succeeds Alexandra Winokur, who “has decided to pursue new personal and professional projects,” Dior said in a release shared exclusively with WWD.

Winokur is to leave her position on Jan. 31 after a one-month handover period with Holman Ros, Dior noted. Winokur’s next move could not immediately be learned.

Holman Ros has been in her current role since 2020, and has had a varied career spanning strategic consulting at Monitor Deloitte and later senior management roles at brands including Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Estée Lauder Companies and Burberry.

At Burberry, her titles included global director of strategy, and director of womenswear, North America, overseeing women’s merchandising and retail.

“Today it’s good to have done a little bit of everything,” Holman Ros told WWD back in 2019, when fashion and luxury firms were progressively poaching beauty executives, attracted by their formidable marketing, digital, brand and consumer engagement skills.

“Throughout her career, she has been an inspiring leader, making a decisive contribution to the development and influence of the companies she has worked with,” Dior said of Holman Ros in its release Thursday.

Commenting on her appointment, Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, deputy chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture, said Holman Ros “combines a genuine vision of client experience with a proven ability to grow brands and motivate her teams to achieve outstanding results.”

A longtime L’Oréal executive, Angeloglou moved over to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton in 2019, first working at Louis Vuitton, then LVMH Fashion Group and Fendi, and now Dior.

He thanked Winokur “for her achievements, professionalism and commitment, notably through the exceptional openings of House of Dior New York and House of Dior Beverly Hills,” also wishing her the “greatest success in the next stage of her career.”

Holman Ros will report to Alessandro Valenti, who on Jan. 12 becomes deputy managing director in charge of commercial activities at Christian Dior Couture, moving over from Givenchy, where he has been CEO since July 2024. His successor at Givenchy, fashion and beauty veteran Amandine Ohayon, starts Friday.
