For brides in search of a comfortable yet sophisticated flat shoe, Brave Pudding has options. The New York City-based brand recognized for its sock shoe style has ventured into evening-ready footwear with offers the Evening Strolls and Evening Strolls II bootie styles and the Evening Lights slipper style, which feature lace uppers and the brand’s signature cushioned insole. Brave Pudding founder Sarah Fiszel found inspiration from the wedge slippers her grandmother used to wear in the evenin,g and she wanted to bring this popular 1950s women’s trend to modern women.
“I was at a wedding in Mexico recently, and I noticed that many people were taking off their heels halfway through the night on the dance floor,” the founder said. “They were either barefoot or wearing hotel slippers. This is where my instinct kicked in and thought of this idea to update my shoes for an evening occasion.”

Vivaia’s Cristina style in Light Gold.
Vivaia
Sustainability-focused footwear brand Vivaia took part in the sneaker-ballet hybrid trend with multiple shoe styles, and several celebrities offered their stamp of approval. The Cristina style, pictured above, has been worn by Lola Tung, Bella Hadid and Lily Gray Hamlin. It can be found in light bridal colors like the Gray Silver version worn by Tung, or the Light Gold option, which Hadid has stepped out in.
