Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘University Blue’ Release Date HF0794-400

It’s been nearly a full year since talks of a Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Blue retro emerged and now, in-hand images of the style’s 2026 iteration have surfaced.

For the first time since its original release in 2003, the Air Foamposite Pro’s UNC-colored makeup will return to retail. Featuring simple two-tone color blocking, the shoe features a University Blue molded Foamposite shell that’s contrasted by white on its eyelets, laces, heel, outsole and signature TPU Swoosh. Small accents of Midnight Navy appear on the heel and at the toe’s mini Swoosh branding.

While it’s far from the most vibrant Air Foamposite colorway, the University Blue colorway has, with age, become one of the model’s most coveted. The University Blue style has become increasingly rare in the decades since its debut, making it nearly impossible to track down an unworn pair today. And if you do find an original ’03 pair, be prepared to shell out as much as four figures — if the shoes are even wearable at this point.

Fans of the Swoosh-adorned Air Foamposite Pro can expect plenty of both familiar and new releases in the new year. Notable newcomer styles include glow-in-the-dark and college football-themed looks while Nike will spark nostalgia with the return of Voltage, Green Camo and Gym Red makeups.

The good news is that fans of this elusive Nike Air Foamposite Pro style will no longer need to jump through these hoops for an opportunity to own the look. The sneaker will be released during spring ’26 in full-family sizing. The University Blue/White/Midnight Navy colorway has a style code of HF0794-400 and is expected to arrive in March for a retail price of $240 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
