Quinshon Judkins injury: Browns RB carted off field in Week 16

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins has exited their Week 16 matchup vs. the Buffalo Bills with a leg injury and had to be carted off the field. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game and the severity of the injury could possibly end his rookie campagn.

Judkins caught a screen pass in the backfield right before halftime and was immediately taken down by Bills linebacker Matt Milano. We’re not going to share the replay here, but his right leg bent sideways and and had an air cast placed on it before being carted to the locker room.

Judkins has been one of the very few positives for the Browns this season and has been one of the only consistent sources of offense for the team. The second-round pick entered Week 16 leading all first-round running backs with 805 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground and was on his way to becoming the first Browns rookie to crack 1,000 yards since Nick Chubb in 2018.

With Dylan Sampson out with a hand injury, fellow rookie Raheim Sanders will serve as the team’s primary back for the rest of the game.

This post will be updated as more info about Judkins’ injury becomes available.
