Jordan Love ruled out of Bears-Packers with concussion

The Green Bay Packers can clinch a playoff spot in Saturday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.

But they’ll have to finish the job without their starting quarterback.

Jordan Love exited Saturday night’s pivotal NFC North clash in the first half after taking a hard helmet-to-helmet hit on a sack. The quarterback remained down on the turf at Soldier Field for an extended period, before being taken to the blue medical tent.

Love then left the field to head to the locker room, accompained by a member of the training staff. He remained in the concussion protocol for a period of time, before the team ruled him out for hte remainder of the game.

Austin Booker was flagged for Roughing the Passer on the play, which will be of little consolation to the Packers and their fans.

Malik Willis entered the game in place of Love, and finished off the drive which ended in a field goal to give Green Bay a 6-0 lead.

Midway through the third quarter, the Packers are still in the lead, with the score 6-3
