Ondas Plans $11M Investment in Ukrainian Drone Technology

Planned investment aims to support U.S. and allied defense needs through combat-tested unmanned systems and NDAA-compliant localization

Ondas Holdings Inc. announced its intent to invest up to $11 million in Drone Fight Group (DFG), a Ukrainian developer of advanced unmanned aerial systems. The planned investment would be made through Ondas Capital, the company’s strategic advisory and investment platform.

The move marks Ondas’ first planned capital deployment focused on Ukrainian defense technologies that have been tested in active combat. Ondas said the investment aligns with its broader strategy to expand access to proven unmanned systems for U.S. and allied defense and security missions.

Bringing Combat-Tested Systems to Allied Markets

Drone Fight Group develops unmanned systems that have been refined during sustained operations in Ukraine. Its portfolio includes strike-focused FPV drones, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms, autonomous mission tools, and drone simulators used for training.

According to Ondas, the relationship is intended to support DFG’s expansion beyond Ukraine. The goal is to make these systems more available to the United States and allied nations while strengthening the allied defense industrial base.

“Ukraine has become the proving ground for modern unmanned systems, driving unprecedented innovation under real operational pressures,” said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas. “Our planned investment in Drone Fight Group represents a deliberate step to bring this combat-proven innovation into the United States and allied industrial base. Through Ondas Capital, we are building a bridge that accelerates access to high-impact autonomous capabilities that meet urgent mission needs.”

Ondas Capital plans to support localization efforts, including U.S.-based, NDAA-compliant manufacturing. The company also expects to provide customer support, training, and long-term sustainment.

Planned U.S. Debut for DFG Systems

As part of the planned collaboration, Ondas Capital will host Drone Fight Group at a U.S. event in Silicon Valley. The event will introduce DFG’s drones to American audiences for the first time.

Defense leaders, technology executives, and investors will be able to see a Ukrainian unmanned system that has been used on the frontlines of the war. The event will also feature members of the Ukrainian team, including frontline instructor “Sasquatch,” who has direct operational experience with the systems.

Ondas said the event is designed to give U.S. stakeholders a clearer view of how these systems perform in real combat conditions and how they could support defense and homeland security missions.

Supporting Procurement and Long-Term Programs

In addition to capital, Ondas Capital plans to provide strategic support to help position DFG’s technologies for multi-year procurement programs. This includes both U.S. and international defense markets.

The companies expect the relationship to help broaden access to unmanned systems that are designed for rapid production, scalability, and adaptability. Ondas said these traits reflect lessons learned from high-intensity conflict environments.

The proposed investment remains subject to final terms, definitive agreements, and compliance requirements.

Expanding Ondas’ Multi-Domain Strategy

Ondas said the planned investment fits within its multi-domain unmanned systems strategy. The company continues to expand across aerial, ground, and counter-UAS platforms.

By sourcing and integrating what it describes as high-value autonomous systems, Ondas aims to improve operational readiness and mission effectiveness for defense and security customers.

The company stated that its approach focuses on combining technology sourcing with localization, integration, and long-term support to meet the needs of allied defense forces.
