MILAN — Moncler is returning to the Olympics after an almost 60-year hiatus flanking Team Brazil for the upcoming Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, to be held Feb. 6 to 22.
As the official sponsor of the Brazil Olympic Committee and technical sponsor of the Brazilian Snow Sports Federation, the luxury brand will outfit the country’s ski team, building on its existing tie-up with Moncler Grenoble brand ambassador Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, the 24-year-old Brazilian-Norwegian Alpine skier.
“Returning to the Winter Games means a lot to Moncler, not only as a celebration of our heritage and where we come from, but also as a statement of what we stand for as a brand, continuing to push the boundaries of high performance and high style, now on the world’s biggest stage for winter sports,” said Remo Ruffini, chairman and chief executive officer of Moncler.
“Being part of this incredible moment, in our home country, through the energy and heart of Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, the Brazil Olympic Committee, and the Brazilian Snow Sports Federation, makes us even more proud. This commitment reinforces our ambition to fuel the boldest dreams of those who dare to break new ground, as Moncler has always done,” he added.
The last time Moncler supported a national team for the Winter Olympics was in 1968 when the Games were held in Grenoble and it outfitted Team France and started using the Moncler Grenoble moniker.
As the official and technical sponsor, Moncler will supply both out-of-competition and racing outfits to Team Brazil, including the race suit developed in collaboration with Pinheiro Braathen. All falling under the Moncler Grenoble division, the outfits are in ivory white and feature subtle branding as well as the Brazilian flag.

“Moncler has been a true pillar in my journey to the Olympics. Not only because of their technical expertise, but because they believed in me from Day One — before the results, before the headlines. They’ve allowed me to stay focused on who I am and what I want to build, supporting me with long-term vision and a deep respect for my identity as both an athlete and a human being,” said Pinheiro Braathen, who has been competing with the latter country’s team since 2024, making the upcoming Winter Games his first as part of Team Brazil.
Marking the tie-up announcement, Moncler is releasing “Beyond Performance,” a short movie directed by Mark Clinton, capturing Pinheiro Braathen as he prepares to take on the Games.

“This partnership expands the presence and recognition of the Brazil Olympic Committee’s brand on the global sports stage. I am certain it will be an unforgettable moment for our athletes to parade in one of the world’s fashion capitals [Milan] wearing pieces that blend performance, design and style,” said Emanuel Rêgo, CEO of the Brazil Olympic Committee.
As reported, ahead of the Olympics, Moncler Grenoble is due to show its fall 2026 collection in Aspen on Jan. 31, continuing its tradition of hosting runway spectacles at international ski resort destinations. Previous shows have been held in locations including Saint Moritz in Switzerland and Courchevel in France, in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
