Megan Thee Stallion brought one of the night’s most memorable courtside moments to the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks game on Friday, showing up at Crypto.com Arena in a pair of basketball-orange lace-up stiletto boots that looked straight out of a custom workshop.
Her boots were built in textured, basketball-orange leather that mimicked the grain and color of a game ball — a detail that instantly pushed the look into custom territory. The silhouette blended references: the tall height and full front lacing echoed a boxing boot, the rounded toe borrowed from a sneaker structure and the slim black stiletto heel sharpened the profile.

Black contrast piping traced the paneling from vamp to shaft, while a small heart under the forefoot added a signature flourish commonly seen in one-off cobbler builds. With no visible designer markings and a perfectly matched bag beside her, the pair read as a personalized creation designed specifically for Megan.
She carried a Hermès Birkin wrapped in the same orange-and-black leather, arranged in a checkered pattern that matched the boots’ palette and reinforced the custom feel. The rest of her look stayed streamlined: a fitted black DSquared shirt and blue jeans, layered jewelry and a sleek center-part hairstyle.
Courtside footwear has been getting more experimental lately, and Friday’s game fit the pattern.
